Is there a stigma with being a black man and being depressed?

:patrice: Seems like we are the last group to deal with real depression. Thoughts?

The reason why Black men aren't the archetype for getting help with mental health issues is because there is a stereotype that we are feral, simplistic, and animalistic creation.

The real problem is brothas that buy into the bullshyt to believe that depression isn't real, and they just need to talk to "Jesus" or who the fukk ever else to solve their problems.

Like James Baldwin said, "To be Black in America is to remain in a constant rage"...

We probably need the most "time outs" to reflect and heal over the shyt cacs put us through, but the system is designed to keep us lesser...

Get those help that need it breh.
