It takes time and some work. Gotta really dedicate money and time to see it thru to the end.

Open trial accounts on Experian and TransUnion print out all the things that are negative on your account.
Submit Disputes with both agencies for discrepancies that might affect you. (paid off accounts, old addresses any incorrect info.)
Start paying all the hits you on your account. If you dont have the cash you can pay the settlements in 2-3 months. I paid them completely for faster result. Also they take 60-50 percent so work em with not paying more than that.
If you pay make sure they give you a mailed letter stating you have paid off collections.
Submit letters to both agencies and keep track do call backs to collectors asking them when do they submit update to credit bureaus.
Make sure they word the accounts as paid off with 0 balance. Some are fakkits and submit it as settled but still say you owed x amount which looks bad.
What gave me most points and this is where its good to be good with family. Have them add you to credit cards. I had my moms and sister add me to a total of 10 cards. This adds their credit history to yours so if they had a best buy card for 10 years no you have 10 years. You get around 10-15 points per card.

Also at this point youll need to be creating your own revolving credit. I suggest open a account with my jewelers club pay the $100 fee and they approve you instantly for 5k revolving credit.

This is what these credit repair people fukk you with asking you to drop $500-1k to help here you go for free.

Lmao I ain't tryna roast but you wayyyyyyyyy off talking about a 500 credit score & a big body Benz (even a newer Avalon) in the same sentence, and I sell cars.

Best you can do is stack your cash for a great down payment and get you a nice pre-owned civic or accord . Won't be flashy but it will be a trillion times more reliable than any other used luxury car you'd find in the same price range

Don't fukk up your finances tryna stunt breh. Go the practical route til you work that score up to the mid 600s-700+. You ain't getting shyt that's flex-worthy with that credit unless you can pay all cash so just get something that runs well and won't need a ton of repairs. You might THINK you coming up on that 2002 Benz for 8 grand til you gotta pay $700 for seatbelt sensors and other trivial shyt, let alone any major mechanical repairs which could literally cost more than the entire vehicle itself.

As far as sonata vs Avalon I say go with the Toyota, but sonatas aren't bad. If you found one for the cheap with a clean carfax, I'd take it

Theres plenty of subprime auto lenders. Check one of those dealers on the radio that say things like, "BAD CREDIT, NO PROBLEM!"...Or check Santander, they seem to have no credit standards.
