Is there any actual PROOF that Africans sold each other into slavery?

Seriously thought. I got into this debate the other week. What disgusted me so much was that when I bought up the fact that I feel like that theory is bullshyt I was ATTACKED and called all kinds of names by OTHER black people

Yes its true. Many people that were sold were either captured from another tribe, persecuted because they werent muslim, or just insignificant dudes that got caught.

Many people also believe that no one had any idea that the slaves were going to be treated that brutally and they thought it would be indentured servitude but thats besides the point
