is there any point in holding onto vhs tapes anymore?

I still have some (Video graff #6, 411 Vm #11, some episodes of speed racer recorded from mtv between 1993-1995, episodes of aeon flux & beavis and butthead) but whats the point? I dont have a tv and damn near all of it i find on youtube now. I even see commercials from every year going as far back to the 70s on youtube.


I swear...its like vhs only exists now for 90s baby hipster tumblr art school projects.

I had the vcr/dvd combo going for a while when i moved to my first apartment. It was the best.

Vhs was the best way to record from tv for a hot minute.

I watched one from my collection years back....the picture quality was absolutely terrible.
