I have to agree with this. People want to dismiss Nikki because she does songs like Starship but message to my hardcore hip hop fans - THOSE SONGS ARE NOT FOR YOU.

Nicki is waayyyy better as a rapper, just straight spitting. There's no debate.
Now, do I like to listen to either? No, but I would take Kim over Nicki, just cus the swag, the era, the memories, beats, BIG affiliations, etc.
But as far as writing and spitting her own shlt, I think it's kind of hard to make the case that Nicki isn't far better.

Where is the proof that Kim doesn't write her own sh1t and I'm not talking about salty collaborators. She co-wrote the 1st album and wrote the other album, a lot of rappers have ghostwriters so I don't take that into account, and even as a straight spitter, you guys sleep on Lil Kim because she's a wannabe cartoon character like Nicki Minaj. At least Kim has an arguable classic, neither of Nicki's albums were any good, but I'll give her the mixtapes.
