i was just talking on Ghostbusters this weekend... i think that shyt is my all time movie.

I agree. It's a film that both kids and adults can like. It's aged like fine wine and just gets better and better as you get older. So many memorable characters & quotables. A lot of that film was done through improvisation too.

Did you know that both Ghostbusters and Gremlins came out the same week? to be a kid that week in 1984.

Comedies are very subjective so it's hard to rank them objectively. But personally for me it's a top 10 comedy of that decade, and really set the bar for the following decade.

Kingpin was my sh!t growing up. I just rewatched it a few days ago. When it comes to Farelly brothers movies its:

1. Dumb And Dumber
2. Kingpin
3. Something about mary

They were in the zone with both Dumb And Dumber and Kingpin, they came more or less a year behind each other. But yeah Something About Mary was great too. Actually, it was on TV a couple of nights ago...

I agree with the poster above its totally subjective. Some people think them Rushmore type movies are top comdies of all time and I just dont see why. Theres Something About Mary is a classic to me for Pat Healy alone dude was a top notch scumbag
