I do remember hearing that Heat was a Rakim beat/song. Same as they gave the Legend Of The Fall Offs best to Busta. A lot of Dre’s beats from that era got taken from Rakim and Detox supposedly. I don’t know if 9 Rakim songs were fully done and recorded tho, too bad they can’t release that shyt anyway, sale beats and all. A lot of people would be interested.

Ya I remember reading the rakim album was pretty much done but dre n rakim couldn't agree on some stuff so they parted ways
