Black folk in the Northeast definitely support or idolize Italians and mobsters way more. Again there are black folk in other areas who do too, but there is a completely different degree of stanning in the Northeast. It is what it is, it's like Northeast blacks have to love these muhfukkas or something as a prerequisite...
Didn't read but unless she can back up this love with actual numbers it's all impression and confirmation bias. Weird thing to write a think piece about anyway.
I prefer Goodfellas over the whole Godfather trilogy as well.

So they adopted the philosophy not understanding the consequences and downfalls to that shyt
And black people aren’t the only ones obsessed with the Mafia/Mob
Those movies wouldn’t have made a fraction of the money solely off of black peoples pockets
The world loves criminality
It just others clutch their pearls in the open while practicing their own degeneracy in the background
Or running whole corporations/organizations like the mob and when shyt comes out
The downfalls are always similar to Goodfellas
Act like the American government ain’t the mob
Police are the henchmen
