Absolutely. The demo on this board is mostly older people (30+) which is why topics tend to center around the golden age of Hip Hop. The older you get, usually you are stuck in your ways about the type of music you like and you tend to fall more into habits. So people don’t necessarily care to explore new artists or pay too much attention to what’s happening. I still think there’s a decent amount of content that revolves around newer artists. New releases typically do great, if there’s controversy between artists those topics do great too. Just the day to day, when not much is happening, we tend to fall back into rehashing topics. My thing is always, anyone can make any topic that want (within the guidelines), if people don’t care to engage, people just don’t care.
