What I take it as, is the context of nikka means two differnt things. Or else all of them would be "real nikkas".
Lame/Broke nikkas are a form of disrespect. Cause you'll never refer to a "lame nikka" as a"real nikka". That being said, why is it disrespectful to tell someone "they ain't nothing but a nikka". If you ain't nothing but a "nikka" aren't you a "real nikka" so why is it disrespectful.
Is it disrespectful because you are essentially calling him the definition of a "******"
It's so confusing I can hardly describe my thought about it.
I guess what I'm tryna say is that some black people have made the word "nikka" the most flattering and endearing term and the most disrespectful term. Within the race and outside of it.
Funny how the definition of ****** has changed. I could of swore years ago it was a definition describing characteristics of a person that anyone of any color could fall into. After looking up the definition today this was the overall definition.

see, this is the problem. folks taking words, celebrating roles and etc that were made to demean them and then becoming those words, roles and etc that are supposed to hurt them and hold them back in a society that never wanted them to succeed in the first place. it's like folks think it's cool to hurt themselves on top of society is already hurting them.
you just have to ask yourself when is it going to stop.

Slowly but surely it will become as common as saying "bro", "dude", "man" ect. Thus losing any significant meaning of its origin and how it was used to describe a person that was less than human when refering to blacks.
