Yes and no. There are still a few larger cities where a middle class individual/family can afford to buy a decent property.

The interest rates are currently really fukking high though. If you already own a home, I wouldn’t try to move right now unless you desperately had to. Your monthly mortgage payment will be unnecessarily higher than you’d expect and you’d be getting way less “bang for your buck”.
