Not sure I'd take Horford over WHiteside.

Living in Atlanta, trust me I've seen plenty of Horford ever since he was here with the Joe Johnson and Josh Smith. He's a solid player no doubt. But Hassan had always had more upside IMO. Dont take this as me shytting on Horford. Again, solid player and deserving all-star. But he's not perfect. You're just seeing him play well for a stretch but there were many times he disappeared for the Hawks. Ask Hawks fans and they'd tell you He's had both memorable (ironically against the big 3 Celtics) and forgettable games in the playoffs

Horford had plenty of playoff action (10 years of playoff appearances and many series) to get acclimated in the playoffs. Again when people were saying they'd rather WHiteside it was because of Whiteside's upside at the time. By then we had seen Horford's ceiling as a 15pt 8rb type of solid player.

At the time we were still building to MAKE the playoffs. That's not the type of squad Horford would have been great in.

Boston has two #3 picks. Both athletic as fukk and skilled to boot. They have a multiple all star center/PF in Al Horford. A great, young coach. A very promising up and coming PG in Terry Rozier than can create a shot better than anyone not named Wade on our roster. Marcus Morris would be the 2nd leading scorer in our team.

Nah, we had enough talent to push the Sixers to seven games or win the series. We severly underperformed.

Idior? We won two games out of the three regular season games against the Celtics. This when the Celtics had a healthy Kyrie.

nikkas stay overestimating this team

Celtics would have washed us worse than the 76ers. We couldn't beat them without Embiid. We got one win because Wade went 06 for a game.

We're exactly what our record says we are. Average and in limbo. Not good enough to compete with any real contenders but not the worst.

Calm down. The Heat have two more years of paying the horrendous contracts. We are going to have a huge cap space and a draft pick soon that if Riley doesn't fukk around with the cap space and let those contracts drop without giving out extensions.

You know the postseason and regular season is way different. The raptors beat the Cavs in the regular season but how did that work out in the playoffs?

Cavs defeated the Raptors twice in the regular season. Anybody that has consistently watch the 2017-2018 seasons knows the baby dinosaurs don't have the dog in them to eliminate the Cavs from the playoffs despite having more depth than Cleveland.

Also Raptors coach is an idiot like Spo.

But by the time we got Whiteside and before he got his Max deal means it was when Horford was still in Atlanta. Meaning that Budenholzer was the coach there. No way in hell they'd take a (well known) headcase like Whiteside after the FO and fans had just ran Josh Smith out of town for the exact same reasons. You could take that one too the bank. No way.
Unless you lived in Atlanta you wouldn't understand how fast they front office wanted homie out of there with the new coach coming in.
