No, the 16-17 Pats were much more of a MAGA team than the Chiefs. No important player on the Chiefs is openly pro-Trump (unless you count their kicker) and their second most popular player is on the MAGA shytlist due to his partner and his vaccine ads. Brady, Belichick and Kraft on the other hand were all very openly MAGA. Plus Trump said he was rooting for them.
