Is this the most racial tension this country has experienced since the 1960s?

I feel like we're on the eve of some incredible racist violence in this country. Everyone can feel the tensions rising to a fever pitch. I suspect all the c00nery is a lame attempt to stem the tide. It's straight up out of fear.

But the damage has been done.

Lines have been drawn.

Get yourself a gun.

I know there were brief periods where things were tense during the Rodney King shyt and OJ Simpson trial but for the last 1 1/2, this is the worst I can remember it being in my lifetime

Anyone else planning an exit strategy from America? :lupe:

Most definantly is. I think when its all said and done, the past 3 or so years (kinda starting with the Trayvon Martin incident) will be looked at as the spark that started the flame. I think alot of us (mainly with the help of social media) are becoming more and more aware of just how deep and systematic racism is and what this country was largely built off of(free black labor). Personaly, i can say that i became "conscious" this year.

racial tension always been high.....but the reason why it seems more intense is the economy, where now even the middle class are struggling......this society is on the brink of collapse
I know that but ever since Ferguson/Baltimore, shyt has been noticeably crazier.

Not really [/taxstone]. Social media just makes you believe its worse. Just like violence in general. Violent Crime is relatively down since the 70s but the coverage of crime has increased like 2000% so people end up thinking its worse than the 90's 80s which is false.

Look up the Central Park Jogger rape case, Tawanna Brawley, David duke, LA riots, Crack Epidemic, Mass incarceration, political discussions on Welfare and the "welfare queen" stereotype, Abner Louima, Amadou Diallou. Not to mention, you have no idea how PISSED white people were at Farrakhan and Rev. Al back in the 80s and early 90s. Things were never "peachy" in this country, breh, trust me.

I guess....I live in a small city where tension have always been high so I can't really see a difference... But I'm sure in big liberal cities tension is high

But America is really declining, the fact that ppl are fighting of 15 an hr is just the start. Ppl are getting desperate for resources. In the next 5 years you'll see ppl throwing bricks through the windows of city hall because u got ppl working 60 he's a week and can barely eat

Even with the whole Confederate flag thing and people going out there way to display it on their vehicles to the numerous police shootings and church bombings to the SAE chant incident

to the Donald Sterling fiasco and etc, we are definantly in a mass shift of consciousness towards race. Its almost like everything the white man has attempted to bury and hide is coming to the light.

the belly of the empire
black blacklash over police brutality have happened at least once in one city in every decade.

This could be the shift that blacks so desperately need to band together as one instead of being in competition with each other ( over nothing).

Just no. :mjlol: I don't see no true pro-black aura around that's even slightly reminiscent of the 90's or the 80's. I fear it's just going to result in endless pseudo-pontificating.
