I fly spirit international sometimes, especially if we’re flying as a group. I just make sure I get the big seat at the front. Can’t be seen with the plebs in the back smelling each other’s hair and body odor.
I'm paying extra for the bigger seats too. How comfortable are they ?

Depends on the max tail/crosswind gust component for the specific airframe.

Smaller planes (Spirit regional joints) usually have lower limits than full size commercial...so this is definitely bullshyt.

If anything, Tower might clear a regional jet for takeoff and a specific departure before a big jet due to mitigate wake turblence.

I’d say they’re comparable to the older first class seats but when you compare them to their economy seats, they feel like you’re sitting on your favorite sofa. I’m taller and enjoy leg room and comfort and have no problem plopping down an extra $50 on a 3+hour flight for extra comfort. It ensures I can immediately enjoy my vacation and not have to deal with aches and pains of sitting in an uncomfortable position for multiple hours.

I’ve heard that spirit is cheap because my boy who flew with them noticed a few things. The workers at the ticket counter checking bags, were also the baggage handlers. When he got to the gate, he noticed the same workers setting up shop at the gates ticket counter. When he boarded his flight, he noticed those same workers were also the flight attendants. Then he noticed the guy who checked his bag was the dam pilot.

Real tears Lmao

Spirit has upgraded their planes, 20 yrs ago their planes were nightmares but nowadays I don't have a problem flying with them if I can make it with no luggage. The degeneracy of American society does not care about airline brands, I've seen just as much fukk shyt pop off in the security line as on the airplane, maybe less ( I pay the eight dollars for clear now, some people don't know how to respect boundaries, particularly single women with kids).
