I don't have to watch the video to tell you the correct answer:

No. A single wristwatch is not worth the price of 2-4 small houses.

No. A single wristwatch is not worth over 2x the lifetime earnings of a single American.

No. A single wristwatch is not worth the amount of money that can feed multiple people for 2 years.

Ask the dude wearing that what time it is, and he will still pull out his phone.
I understand some people see these as investments, but i think the value over time will shrink instead of grow. Gen Z and Gen Y and futures gens are just going to see it as old tech like a vcr.

Ask a man who's wearing something timeless what time it is, brehs :mjlol:

He ain't got time for you to be asking what time it is :mjlol:

You tryin to catch a bus?

You on the way to work?

Dudes like pharrell transcend space and time. They don't operate like us. I know someone that worked at Macy's when Beyonce came thru like 15 years ago. The store was closed. After hours, no public but all the workers were there.

These people walk into a restaurant they don't wait in line, they don't wait to be seated. You get those candid videos of celebrities being "down to earth" and waiting for coffee or buying food from a truck. That's not their life. I mean sure they drink coffee and eat shytty food but the big ones just do those photo ops.

My boy lives in LA (works in film) sees celebrities everyday. You'd be surprised what media works with. A celeb will walk out of a business/building with their dog on a leash or walk out of a hotel and paparazzi will snap dozens of photos and they'll be like "Jlo taking her dog for a walk!!!!!" When she literally just walked out of a building walked 2 buildings over then the limo or car pulls up and she hops in.

These people don't operate like us.

I haven't owned a watch since Junior High. Once I got a cellphone it was like "Whats the point???" That shyt is pure fashion at this point. The utility expired ages ago. The price for this is fine if you're willing to pay it.

it depends on the watch.

limited edition/production pieces usually appreciate in value.

the market fluctuates, but you're talking about a generation that overvalues sneakers. a generation that birthed bitcoin :russ:

buying certain watches is like buying art or real estate. And they're easy to smuggle in/out of countries.
