Are you serious He coached from 1941 - 1997 and only went undefeated 2 times. The ONLY reason why he got the most wins is because he coached for 56 years. No coach can match what Osborne did as far as making sure his steams consistently staying a national power from beginning to end. Eddie Robinson never coached at the highest level which is sad because he should've gotten the opportunity but he was born in a different era. But he his overrated never the less.

Most teams now a days don't play a lick of defense so they have to score a lot of points just to have a chance to win. I wish more teams ran the option. I'd rather watch that than the spread. And it's not like teams don't run out of it. When Vick was at Va Tech they ran the speed option.

Either way, its hard to defend. If Army or Navy had legit defenses they would be in the top 25 consistently every year.
