I can respect this a little. Maybe he wasn't the best but he did good enough that he was able to use proper connections to get paid.

Like anything in life, a lil luck, right place at right time, timing, and knowing the right people can change your life. Him being young high energy player with Lebron when Lebron was basically GM for Cavs and his agent was also Lebron co. got him paid, nba contracts are fully guarenteed and have skyrocketed. Scrubs can make more than HOF of even 20 years ago on 1 contract vs. their career earnings. Lebron got him a 5 yr/$82 mil contract. He got that based on hustle, rebounds, defense, etc in his young age. He didnt have to make a basket honestly.
