Lettuce discuss :jbhmm:

Me bring from the south of the south I’m obvious biased…I tried “southern food” in ny and nj and shyt was trash

Ny especially has more variety from all the diff cultures

But I can find a obese arm grandma in a night gown with rollers on her head that can cook better than the best restaurant up top :mjlol:

It depends on the food. Seafood, Mexican food, and barbecue is much better down south. Italian food, especially pizza, is better up north. Food from other cultures, it just depends on who’s cooking for the day, no matter where they’re located

Maybe in Charleston and Savannah.. but seafood is definitely weaker than New England. If you get Clam Chowder is Boston (my condolences) I don't think anything I know of here in Georgia can compete.

The food isn’t seasoned the same in most places outside the south.

I don’t want no bland tasting nothing.

You may be right. And I guess I was only thinking about FL since I moved here (seafood in Texas is pretty good too, when I lived there at least). No other places seafood is touching the places I’ve had here

In terms of seafood the south has Louisiana (and they're damn good at it). Outside of new Orleans who can step to new England or Maryland?
