Yes it's grimey, it's not like Managament can't pull all your emails anyway, but still it's lame. That's why you always keep emails professional, no matter what.
I sent in my resignation to my boss and director then BCC'd to my homegirl in HR.
My boss tried to tell HR, "Oh I think she's quitting because she won't answer the phone" like I'm abandoning my job without notice.

Whats the difference between cc and bcc
Bcc stands for blind carbon copy which is similar to that of Cc except that the Email address of the recipients specified in this field do not appear in the received message header and the recipients in the To or Cc fields will not know that a copy sent to these address.
