What's effeminate about taking care of your body both inside and out? Now if you doing some face masks to keep your face all smooth, fresh and young looking then we might have to question you. Men doing great things don't have time to be pampering ourselves, but find you a good shampoo, conditioner, moisturize yo shyt every week or two etc.

No it's not sweet to use hair products. Grooming your hair is apart of your hygiene regimen. Don't get too wrapped up watching tuts on YouTube because they'll have you buying a bunch of stuff you don't need.

Find some products and a routine that works for you.
