Well, you could say Putin controls Trump, but we don’t have definitive evidence of that yet (though we do see Trump acting as if Putin did though).

He control's Trump in the sense that Trump is too stupid to hide the fact that he's being controlled and the rest of the government acts as a guard rail against him.
People should read about American soviet spies high up in government in the 30s, 40s, and 50s.
Those were REAL agents who did subversive work without ANY indication that they were spies.
