try one of the mobile headsets 1st so you don't break the bank. You can find a decent one for $50 - $75

Worth is subjective. Go to the psvr thread if you want an idea of what it's like from actual users. I think I have the most experience with psvr on this forum so let me know if you have any questions about it specifically. I like it, but like everything else it has its pros and cons, with the cons being due to limited support and not the vr experience itself.
I've always read to stay away from psvr for VR, as it's not as good as Vive or Oculus.

Word, maybe I'll do this. But is mobile vr really the same concept as the high prices vr sets?

It's dope imo. I don't use it every day because of all these other games but it's a new way to play games right now.

I'd wait till E3 to see if there's a price drop and for the other big games Sony supposed to be showing.

Playstation VR is going to be the one with the most titles.Seems like it will be the easiest to manage as well because you won't have to download anything on your computer.

Most people have it ranked 2nd behind HTC Vive.

I think Playstation got some criticism at initial launch but they have recovered. The headset is the most comfortable out of all of them.

PSVR is the one i'm going to go with.

VR is the new 3D movie

They keep trying to make it work, but it just isn't as good as it seems in theory

Maybe one day we'll get there, but I just think people don't want to be THAT consumed by a game

Same concept from what I've read but I haven't tried one of the higher end VR headsets. I have the Samsung Gear VR and it has some really cool games/apps. The Vive and Oculus Rift, etc...are just better quality because they're running on PC's with enough power for a more immersive experience.

I really dig my Gear VR but the novelty kinda wears off. I usually pick it up about once a week. There is a decent amount of apps to try but what's really missing from VR right now is a game-changing app/game that makes everyone want to experience VR. A lot of companies are investing in VR so we may get that killer app soon.
