Was thinking about this yesterday, while i was sitting in jury duty (:comeon: :snoop: :camby:). Emotions are universal being that they exist in Man, Woman, & Child (hell even in the animal kingdom).

Is a man/woman expressing there innermost emotions a turn-on or turn-off?

a man expressing his emotions can be a turn on. like if he rarely if ever cries and he cries about something. But if he is always crying and very emotional it's a turn off, at least for me. I'm more into stoic individuals.

yeah i think there is a small line between being vulernable and being a bit pathethic

Uh... this is tough, I'm not vulnerable very often myself, I never let anybody see me cry. And I think someone being emotional all the time would be kinda off-putting to someone like me. But I think it depends on what kind of vulnerability you show and why... if they have a problem, it's definitely better to let me know what they're feeling instead of just trying to play it cool.

That said, vulnerability isn't exactly a turn on, but a certain degree of vulnerability has to be included when you're trying to make the relationship work out... you have to open up yourself to that person, wounds and all.

It's all about short-term and long-term. Everyone is Vulnerable, they just have varying degrees and their own ways. The best though are people who find that balance, as they are able to express their emotion without looking very weak or like a robot.

I see vulnerability from a female as a form of deep communication between me and her so of course it would be a turn on to me that she chose to open herself to me.

play on player. I feel if a woman can pour herself out to me emotional or otherwise, it strengthens the bond between us. I have absolutely no problem sharing my innermost feelings about how i may feel (whether sad, happy, etc.) Emotions are universal and everybody has them.

Vulnerability is something i think everybody goes thru, like you said universal. Me im a giver and more often time then not, i share myself with people (sometimes it has ill-effects :manny:) But for some it natural to let that part of themselves out.

A certain degree of vulnerability is necessary. If he can't express himself and his true emotions then the relationship is doomed to fail.
