Is White Trash culture the reason for the ills of the black community?

White trash have been the only white people in contact with black people in the slave days with the exception of the plantation master and a lot of their cultural heritage have been placated onto us. White trash forced their cultural identity on black slaves and that's why we act the way we do now.


Look at signs:

-Hatred for education and a skepticism about the effectiveness of school
-Believes college is "liberal/marxist indoctrination" and a waste of time/money
-Hatred for people "rising above their learnings" or being successful
-Dresses sloppily and aspires to live a life on government assistance
-Is hardcore religious and fanatical to their detriment
-Love showing off wealth with cars(Ford F150, Four wheelers) with a poor sense of financial intelligence
-Hates gay people with a passion along with progressive ideology
-Loud and arrogant for no apparent logical reason
-Loves greasy and unhealthy fast food. There is a lot of unnaturally high obesity rates.
-A lot of substance abuse problems plague the community along with unnecessary heavy drinking.
-Shotgun weddings, high divorce rates and teenagers getting knocked up left and right.
-Can barely talk right and has a poor grasp on the english language
-Terrible music taste. Considers everything else "gay" or liberal indoctrination.
-An almost scary obsession with guns and firearms past of point of being a mere hobby.
-Is very racist towards other races along with a strange suspicion of foreigners.
-Deep fried nearly everything
-Is constantly running in trouble with the law and getting into something with cops
-The women are easier than figuring out how to fit the cube in the square hole
-A ton of single mothers and dead beat dads
-Obsessed with "keeping it real" with their redneckisms

As a black guy who grew up in poverty and was well aquainted with the hood nikkas and rednecks, the similarities between white trash redneck culture and ratchet culture are almost striking.

I mean, contrary to popular notion the south is not as racially segregated as people might think.

Rednecks and Blacks living next to each other for generations, so of course the mannerisms of each group is going to adopted in some ways by the other group (and vice versa)

I agree that Southern White culture and Black American culture have a ton of similarities (and are more or less the same thing IMO atleast ),

but I don't agree that white trash culture is the sole reason why the black community is fukked up. .

But yeah, blacks and whites in the south have a bizzare love hate relationship.

Lol. I'd actually put more blame on the White middle and upper class who as far back as the Harlem Renaissance were 'slumming' it up with Blacks. They'd leave their nice safe mundane existence to go do drugs with and listen to jazz with the colored folk, culture vulturing the slang and fashion just like they did rock & funk & disco & rap.

This wouldn't be a problem except when they get finished having life experiences that piss their parents off they rejoin their larger natural culture mostly none the wiser for their time spent among the lower classes and armed with the stereotypes to typecast is with.

i actually think the greater difference is middle and upper class whites are afforded the opportunity to move away from lower class whites and white people as a whole are judged by the best whites and not by the worst whites.....

in contrast, the best blacks are not easily afforded the opportunity to move away from the worst blacks and black people are judged by the worst among us, not the best....

HUGE, HUGE, HUGE difference in the way the media portray both groups... white people are judged as doctors and lawyers, blacks as thugs and pimps.... there are black doctors and lawyers, but no one wants to hear about that... they're considered as not real blacks.... there are also white thugs and pimps, but again no one wants to hear about them... they are just swept under the rug....

Yeah I'm sure my dude @kp404 can elaborate a little better on this than I can, but the mechanism of keeping poor whites feeling empowered over black, through the notion of supremacy, limited the potential for the poor,(who outnumber the rich), from staging an uprising against the rich and the power structure in play.


The notion of if I work hard, I too, can one day own slaves, or be in powerful position, where I rise above the ranks and others.
