no they aren't. Its the 2-4 year deals with team options. If shyt dont work out in 2yrs, they can get out of the deal much easier.

teams have to spend 90% of their cap.
before this new CBA you would have seen guys like korver get full 6 year midlevel, Splitter on 5 year deals at higher yearly salary and so on. With shorter deal and team options teams are more flexible with their cap
Guys like Monta Ellis, Tyreke Evans, Brandon Jennings would have gotten 60-80 million deals in the old CBA.
