even with those verses. Hell, I'm hard pressed to think of this as a rap album.

It's like listening to that old Society of Soul album. Like it's just a blusey album. High on the couch music.

yeaaaahhhh..... I'ma have to subtract some points for this one.

I just said that to a friend. Barely a hip hop album but novel and musical in its own way with a few missteps.

Nothing on here as strong as Smile or Nelly hip hop wise but i like it for what it is. i was a huge fan of this kid from the first time i heard him though. Dont see him picking up too many new fans with this. even before he went public i was saying he was basically self destructive benzo music. Wish he came out 10 years ago when i was still popping kpins.

Yeah, the production is great. Perfect real overcast/rainy day music for the most part for me. That much can't be denied.

Rashad though.....nah man. Doesn't do these beats anywhere near justice.

I'll definitely come back to this but it'll mostly be background noise

Off two listens no, imma give it more time but Cilvia had more highs than this, still pretty good tho, just 3 or 4 songs that are easy skips.

Breh's I don't think this shyt is lower than a 8 out of 10 at worst. The verses aren't all that but they aren't all flat out terrible, production is flawless and I think this might have my fave Kendrick feature all year.

I do not fukk with Bday or A Lot at all tho.

Yea all the other tracks are dope to me except those. I don't think its as diverse as Cilvia Demo, it has a more samey kind of sound throughout the album but I fukks with it.

I haven't listened yet but it sounds like he's made more of a southern album whereas Cilvia Demo was more boom bap hip hop. I say this because southern artist lean more on style and flow.

It's definitely not Ciliva Demo 2. I like it for what it is but wish it was balanced a little more with a few more Free Lunch, Nelly and Smile type songs.
