"There is no athlete on the planet who could've played through those cramps," Thomas told Yahoo Sports. "Michael Jordan absolutely couldn't have played through those cramps. I absolutely couldn't have played through those cramps. As an athlete, there's nothing you could do."

Twenty-six years ago, Isiah Thomas delivered the most unforgettable 25 points ever scored in an NBA quarter, his ankle threatening to crumble under the pressure of the pain and platform. On a Finals night that everyone else was a sweaty, disheveled mess, Thomas looked so unaffected and unmoved in the heat. He hadn't come to condemn this generation's superstar, but give him a comforting nod of understanding.

"There's no way you could play that way," Thomas told Yahoo Sports. "People have to understand that – just no way."

but let you unathletic internet nerds tell it, he shouldve just downed a gatorade, eaten a couple of bananas and went back out there:laff:

irrelevant. Jordan woulda never gotten cramps in the first place.

Tim Grover on cramps: http://articles.chicagotribune.com/...228_1_leg-cramps-dwyane-wade-personal-trainer

Dwyane Wade's passion to be like Mike extends to his choice of a personal trainer.

Chicagoan Tim Grover, who made his reputation monitoring the workouts and daily nutritional habits of Michael Jordan, had sound advice for Wade, whose leg cramps at the end of Game 1 of the playoffs Saturday night left the Heat star questionable for Monday night.

"A lot of the cramping usually happens during the playoffs, or even if you watch the NCAA tournament," Grover said via telephone from Chicago . "And a lot of it happens not because of conditioning--because at this time of the year, the players are pretty much in condition."

Grover said he had spoken Friday with Wade, a Chicago native.

"Sometimes anxiety has a lot to do with [cramping]," he said. "Players get hyperventilated, or they don't sleep well the night before. Maybe they don't eat properly or they have butterflies in their stomach. That can lead to extensive cramping. But cramping of athletes at this time of year is more of a mental kind of thing."

Heat trainers made sure Wade ingested several ounces of Gatorade before and during Monday night's game. Wade came out strong and scored 13 first-half points to give the Heat a 68-57 advantage at intermission. He finished with 21 in Miami's 115-108 victory in Game 2.

Grover said he does not recall Jordan suffering from leg cramps as a player.

"It would take a lot to get Michael anxious or excited," he said. "He played at that level whether it was a preseason game or the seventh game of the Finals."

Logic and reason simply evade people when it comes to anything LeBron. Especially when dere is any moment of struggle whether it be his fault or da fault of incredible circumstance.

It's undoubtedly one of da most bizzaro involuntary powers I've ever seen one human have over otha individuals on a mass scale. :why:

I don't even know why some of you are putting effort into answering these fools. People who think he could have or should have played through it are just proving how dumb they are.
