Take for instance Air Jordan or Primetime or Megatron. At some point there must have been an originator of the nickname, a first person to ever say it. Then from there it took off and next thing you know literally millions of people are calling them that. It's amazing how word of mouth or maybe one newspaper or one newscaster can make the nickname spread like wildfire
