Thats dumb along with the post you quoted. Israel and America are friends, not associates. Israel is a sovereign nation and occasionally makes moves to protect its livelihood. They worked with the Soviets at times during the Cold War and they might work with China on certain occasions now. That doesn't really change how much loyalty they have towards the US. US and Israeli interests are aligned 90%+ of the time, thats why we're allies. That remaining 10% largely falls into self-determination.
AIPAC might be too powerful for their own good but have you ever considered that Israel is our bytch? They've carried out OUR foreign policy in the Middle East for 70+ years now. Israel has done our dirty work in the Middle East forever now. Bombing Iraqi and Syrian nuclear facilities and chemical sites. Hacking Iranians nuclear program and setting them back. All that shyt keeps our troops and our military out of the ME. This one way street that everyone in this thread is pitching is straight bullshyt.

intl politics is rough/tumble - not gonna argue too much with your points as we all know nothing is black/white. there are no friends/enemies, only interests (i think the quote goes something like that).
and you're absolutely correct that the US definitely also gets a lot out of the relationship. israel is how we manage to keep the arabs in line. and the calculus obviously changes with the times. definitely not a one way street, but i think it's fair to say that the Israelis are much more successful in their attempts to move the US towards their preferred policy than the other way around. all of those things you mentioned they do, they would do even if the US weren't supporting them. it's in their own interests as well.

Dude STFU, Israel didn't hack Iran's nuclear site. All they did was install the hacks we GAVE them. And to make it worse, those idiots thought they were smart and tried fukking with our code. That's how the Stuxnet virus got out. Dumbass Israelis monkeying around with American hacks to make them too agressive, and they spread outside the nuclear site.
Israel got us into Iraq and tried to get us into an Iranian invasion as well. Israel is a parasitic nation that creates enemies for us in the ME.
