Issue with Higher Learning moderator

One of the mods in Higher Learning is taking his personal issues with several posters as a means to coerce the topics on the board to fit his narrow biased agenda.

This includes merging of threads in an unnecessary manner as well as deleting/editing of posts and then supplementing his words to stand in for the subsequently deleted post.

He has merged about 4-6 threads into this one, convoluting several different aspects of this current event.

There are many facets of this story that do not directly fit into the mold of one thread. All threads merged share a theme of criticism of the Obama Administration and Democrats in general.

I can't find the thread where he deleted my post and supplemented his own argument in lieu of mine, but I'll keep digging. Several other long time KTL/HL posters have also witnessed this passive aggressive behavior, including very emotional PMs.

I understand Higher Learning goes into details about politics, which will at times be combative, but censoring through merging when issues against the Democrats and President are presented is dishonest.

I've also been threatened with deletion of posts/threads if I didn't conform to his standards of presenting an argument.

He made a comment that ironically derailed the thread and I asked him for sources. He deletes my post and his, but edits his deletion to continue his argument, essentially deleting my post and keeping his.

Then I get this PM:

Where he accuses me of derailing the thread by asking for sources to some asinine comment and argument he made, which as I mentioned before, ended up derailing the thread (something he accused me of).

This shyt is absurd. I didn't really mind it but now he's following me around to other subforums, sending me long winded PMs and merging threads/deleting posts for political censoring purposes.

I'm trying to resolve this in the best way. I'm not trying to put anyone on blast or have him removed, but I feel these things need to be addressed. He's an intelligent young man, and is usually a good moderator, but his bias is extremely evident in certain cases.

He usually does a decent job, but if it involves me or criticism of him/Obama Administration then he either:

A) Merges needlessly
B) Deletes Posts
C) Derails threads with personal attacks and mini novels


It's getting absurd.

I dont mind the position. Im fair and balanced because i appreciate friends and having been a long time career poster i understand the needs of individuals and will hold everyone accountable as it concerns following the rules. Lets not edit friends posts to win an argument.
