Baby and Slim weren't guiding Wayne creatively during his best years.
When Wayne sued them, he said he won because he was able to show that he was working closely with producers and that the heads of the label (Baby and Slim) "didn't do anything, but sit back and collect the money" he was earning, but didn't pay him. He said Mannie was the one that would be with him and coaching him on flows and what beats would work best for him. His classic mixtapes and all that, was just Wayne on his own making it happen.
Last thing he needs is to get back around Beatrice and Slim. They can't do anything for dude today.
