So much fukkery like having kids serve alcoholic drinks. Even the remake was PG-13.
The OG Bad News Bears is pure uncut fukkery. I need to revisit it.
Alot of them old school movies were with the shyts. I watched Cannonball Run for the 1st time in forever the other day. Had me So much shyt they could not get away with these days.
I’ll keep an eye on that movie. A lot of these older films are classic comedy.
That was made before they had pg 13
Damn , i completely forgot about bad news bears . I fukked with all their movies they were all 100% pure fukkery
Another film that I was surprised was only rated PG was The Towering Inferno and it features scenes like this:
Back in the days when "PG" actually did mean "parental guidance", i.e. you couldn't watch it without a parent. Of course, it would be Rated PG-13 (which hadn't been invented yet) or maybe even R now.
best one gotta be Poltergeist
Spielberg finessed the fukk outta the MPAA for that
Im pretty sure it was before PG13
Technically, he did it three times: Poltergeist (ghost directed), Gremlins (executive producer), and Temple of Doom (directed.) Good for Steven.
every unexpected, or known and expected scary scene.
in every one of those movies is grade a hall of fame horror and gore.
like So scary i left the room or was So shook.
I cared not to talk about it at all back then as a kid.
let alone be in the same room with the life size hall of fame scary toys and paraphernalia.
to this day,...
man, I did not have a tv in my room.
for a number of years as a kid.
all because of that movie.
imma go watch tv in the basement.
then go up two floors to go upstairs to sleep.
when i was a kid cot damn it.
that shyt came on regular regular abc back in the day like all the time too.
before on tv or spectrum.
