Cliff notes of the past 3 years:
-Started college in 2012. Knew it was a scam from the jump but took a risk. I didnt have the money to go but took on the loans.
-Didn't really know what i wanted to do. Started working towards a military scholarship as an alternative to enlisting
-Shyt wasn't working out. Every door i tried was closing
-Just got word a few weeks ago i got a full ride scholarship for my last two years to an HBCU in the area, and ill commission as an officer after i get my bachelors
It's been a long journey..Lost religion and gained spirituality..Learned a lot about myself in the process. I haven't told anyone else. No friends or family, just my moms and dad.
This isnt a bragging thread...It's to tell the young nikkas to keep pushing towards w/e plan you have..And if you're in a position to help someone then do it
