And spare me the "oh theyre good by themselves" rhetoric theyre not. They are actually worse if you pretend matrix didnt exist....matrix reloaded is the biggest piece of shyt ever and the2 are really generic. The architect is the best part of the two films.

i still liked the 2nd movie. that car chase scene and the scene with neo fighting all those guys in the ball room is still top 5.
- the fight with neo vs a 100 smiths was corny
- the movie fell off when they introduced the architect

^^ exactly, car fight scene from the second one was the only thing I remember worth watching from both sequels

ending fight with smiths only left me thinking "eh,and thats it? that was a big fukking culmination to the series? "

I recommend the first part of animatrix (non-animated) tho
