She's a studio singer to the 3rd degree but just cause your a studio singer don't mean you don't have hot songs. J. Lo has good writers and producers behind her. She's made some Classic songs but I agree, some of those notes she tries to hit are just so out of key even with the studio magic. But she's multi-talented. She looks fine as f*ck, she can dance so her vocal not being as strong isn't a big deal. She's more of the full package. People say Janet and Madonna don't have strong voices but they are way better singers than J. LO.

she isn't the greatest latin dancer of my gen, that would be rosie.
she isn't the greastest domestic latin freestyle artist of my gen, that would be lisa lisa.
so, for her to shore up another all time label for herself.
through sheer will, and using goof nikkaz like puff, and ben affleck.
