Your homie needs to just pay close attention to her for a few weeks, and if anything seems suspicious, to bring up something that will make her feel guilty casually. Or ask if he can borrow her phone to take a picture, and then run through those messages.

She broke up with her ex in 06. My homie was the rebound guy for 7 months. She all of a sudden stopped talkin to my homie that July and got back with her ex. He cheated on her AGAINand my homie hooked back up with her in 2008 and they got married in 2009.
