Yea i doubt there will be another golden age. Hiphop in its modern form(Run DMC)is almost 40

All music becomes somewhat obselete and no longer cutting edge. At this point hiphop has been so commercialized and corporate that its barely even "cool" anymore. What used to be music for rebels, tha voice of tha streets is just something to sell candy or a basic signifier.

Tha only thing left to do is synthesize genres that havent been mixed before.

Music reflects the culture. The Matrix hadn't took over yet, so nikkaz was still outside on some goon shyt, and the music reflected that. Illuminati was still a rumor back then, but now you got nikkaz willingly offering the booty for a record deal, wearing dresses, dancin on tables, and worshipin the Shaitan like shyt is sweet. :scust:

And the music reflects that. Most of the shyt sounds like how I imagine drinking a shyt smoothee would taste. Punk smooth shyt. :dame:

nikkas act like being a R&B fruitcake is brand new. 808's are not new, wearing tights is not new and neither is simping for hoes, that stuff was just frowned upon bacc then that's all. Not to mention it was separated out from Hip Hop/Rap whatever you wanna call it. :hubie:
