the inverse is the problem. Some teams you would say are bad for business, right?

I'd say The Nets are bad for business because they dont have a concrete fanbase. The Knicks are NY's team and it's not even close. They havent been in BK long enough to establish that kind of credibility yet

Other than that, the NBA is a star driven league. As long as any given NBA team making a playoff run has polarizing figures, they arent bad for business. LeBron could play for Memphis or SLC and business would still be fine.
