It hurts me to say this as a Weeknd Stan but ... but .... Was Bieber album better?

This Bieber album damn near perfect for a pop album :francis:

I'm not sure I love Weeknd trying the pop lane. 2nd half of madness shaky to me

Bieber's album was flames but Weeknd had better stuff. Y'all are just mad he didn't break through with his older shyt
You might be right... Maybe just in this moment I'm enjoying Bieber shyt more but Weeknd stuff will probably sit with me longer.

I just can't with songs like "in the night"

I've had one listen of Bieber's album out of curiousity. Nothing on that is fukking with The Hills, nevermind BBTM as a whole.

That beat drop is musical moment of the year for me, makes me :banderas: :wow: every time.

I agree with you. Part of this could be me playing the strongest tracks from madness 1000s of times (especially Often and Hills) and Purpose relatively fresh.

I'll give Bieber having the better feel good party records but that ain't really Weeknd lane

Yeah I see where you're coming from. Purpose seems to have a few good singles/tracks, I like Company and Sorry. The rest I can't really remember (not a fan of What Do You Mean?). 2 different artists with 2 different aims I suppose.
