I'm with you OP. Trump's numbers are starting to come down. The media is like :dwillhuh: because they can't fukking believe he's still ahead but it's a long race and they have made it their mission to destroy Trump from every angle. It's not even just a FOX thing. CNN is dedicating time to take apart Trump.

When the dust settles.. Rubio will be left standing. Fiorina doesn't have the background. Bush has not lit a fire though I could also see him gaining some steam if the machine decides to go that way. Right now Rubio is their best chance.

We're still early, and after thinking about it, I think we're going to get a Cruz / Kasich ticket.

Trump, Carson and Fiorina still have 4 months to fukk themselves up pre-Iowa, which they all will as soon as the spotlight gets put on them heavy. They're not real politicians, and don't know how to ride the fine line between firing up the base, and saying things that will get them wrecked in soundbites [see example: Herman Cain]. The whole Trump media attention is based on the fact that the mainstream media can't see how Trump lasted this long. When they all fall out, their pissed-off white supporters are going to flock to the farthest right candidate that they think can get elected, Cruz.

Kasich gets you the establishment politician to be the real decision maker behind the scenes, a real Washington head who looks moderate on social issues, but is hard right economically, from a state they desperately need to win to win the election.

Rubio won't win any of the first three states, but watch out for a sneak Rubio win in Nevada in late February. Lot of Hispanics out here probably think he'll be down for them just because of the name. He's had an office in Reno for a while now. Still though, he's just young fresh Bush, and when have the R's appreciated youth and energy?

They will vote for him. Keep in mind the GOP primary occurs across all 50 states and is population-weighted just like a general election. fukkabee carried the south in 08 and didn't finish in the top 2. Rubio will win FL, which is huge, and should be able to win a lot of states nationwide even if he loses much of the south and heartland.

mostly south Fl fukks with him

Kasich is running at 2% right now. It's early but damn he has a lot of work to do that's a very low number
I know but when you think about it, everyone else in front of him is completely bat shyt crazy... I know I'm showing too much faith in the GOP but I just can't even imagine any of the other candidates actually being the nom.

Gang violence...
republicans are going to battle it out between establishment and outsiders. rubio is establishment but he is also younger than the republican establishment prefers. they historically go for the next in line, and that would be jeb. i can only see rubio fitting in as a VP choice for jeb. i think this really has to come down to trump vs jeb

and as crazy as it sounds, if trump won, i could see him picking fiorina or another republican woman for VP
