Great episode, I only have one gripe.
All them brehs were military men. I understand there is a fire but how did they not defend better in that shootout? They not trying to take cover and shoot or nothing. Just standing in full view of the windows like idiots. Sure they airmen, but they still shouldve been better trained for combat :francis:
Neither are scared of him and he needs fear to eat
1. Pennywise doesnt need fear to eat or kill. He couldve killed/eaten Kersh/Will if he wanted.
2. The hanlon that poster is talking about is Will, not Leroy. Will was frozen in the kitchen.
This shyt was fukking flames brehs

They used scraps of the book to build a lot of the show already; giving reason for certain events (the reason behind the black spot fire and Mrs Kersh’s later interaction with Beverly Marsh), and or filling in gaps that we once used our imagination to fill.

Only thing I found a little disappointing was that was how they didn’t use the giant bird that gave Will and Mike the fear that would used against Mike later. The ā€œLegion/Klanā€ members were there to burn down the black spot, simply because black people were there. They didn’t leave, they stayed and saw how bad the stampede was and how they fukked things up. I think I remember some of them (or other locals) even tried to help out of guilt, but it was already too late.

IT, in the form of the giant bird with balloons tied to its wings, came down out of the night sky, snatching both victims of the black spot and Legion members back up into the night. Will thought he was hallucinating, nobody seemed to notice it with all the chaos going on and people on fire.

The imagery was much more intense and scary than the way the show portrayed it. I also noticed the show is randomly retconning shyt from both the movies and the book. Still enjoying it though.

It wasn't just because black folks were having a good time but some whites were going over there too.
