Artistic vision aside, and despite the bad blood, Pac was a New Yorker at heart and he knew it. He lived in NYC for a greater portion of his childhood, and it's what shaped him as an artist, especially in his early days.
Obviously, Baltimore (and Cali) had some significance in his mannerisms and such, but at the end of the day, Pac was a New Yorker; his fierce and aggressive spirit is an example of that. New Yorkers, at least back then, acted just that.
Crazy, confrontational, and wild.
My mom could attest to that since she was a few years older than he at the time of his death and was born and raised in NYC, so she knows.
