find someone who doesn’t want a big wedding. most likely they’ll be compatible with you in other ways and you have a good marriage

Marriage is one of the few ways to build wealth for us. And provide a stable home for our kids. Way too many single parents out here and it's killing us

I think men should review WHY they're getting married to who they're marrying in the first place.
There's plenty threads on your 'body count', etc and at the same time we talk about how marriage is a failure.
At the same time we talk about the destruction of the black family.

If you're advocating against marriage and still having kids then you seriously need to provide a healthy alternative. Not "Get Married Brehs".
Bottom line, how do we create a healthy family structure???

I personally dont believe in marriage but dont want to actively knock others beliefs I have a habit of doing that lol so I am trying to change.

My inner circle is composed of at least 5-6 nikkaz who have kids... homes... no marriage. A few that got married to long time girlfriends and are doing well too.

What I learn from them is it has everything to do with having a solid partner. I have met plenty of women who just like men wanted to build an invest in a family and not a marriage. They have no rings and their lives are blessed.

The brokest nikka in my circle had the most expensive wedding and he the same one that raising his family in a small apartment. His girl hates all the other women in our circle because they aren't as fake as her, she gossips about em... Won't come to the gatherings and is the only bish out of shape in the whole circle.

She's also the only cac. The other women are Black or Asian.

Marriage isn't impossible but it definitely isn't for everyone. If the whole population is gunning for marriage and the eligibility pool is like 1% then move accordingly. MOST men and women today are NOT marriage material.

I used to date a girl that would fawn over her grandparents relationship like it was the ideal situation. I met them a few times. Very old school couple. They were always dressed sharply with nowhere to go. Wife never let hubby see her looking frumpy on a day off in her life. Husband in kind always looking proper for his spouse. They did everything together. Same girl couldn't clean her spot before I came over and put in the lil type of efforts that show you care for somebody. I pointed that out to her and shattered her world.. told her flat out what it takes for her grandparents to be together is a lot of hard work and she ain't willing to put in half of it
