It seems like the only time real fans can go to games is if the team sucks, the stadium/arena sucks or both.

Silicon Valley has swallowed up a piece of Oakland and it's why I root against them the most.

it's like here in LA.. i went to Lakers games at the forum all the time growing up and the crowd stayed LIT... fights among lakers and suns fans... chicks flashing t*ts to opposing players, all kind of fukkery in the stands, then staples center came around then the crowds became way more beverly hills , cal tech people...

Alot of the people in silicon valley aren't even from this country. They just like seeing basketball Hard to hate on Warriors fans cause all it took was a solid playoff run in 06 to have the fan base they have now. Most ctites would have jumped off the wagon in their 09/10 years.

I mean people talk about and I think the consensus is it's not gonna be the same as oracle, but I mean what can anyone do about it? They're a private company and the new stadium is supposed to be privately funded. Just from a financial standpoint it makes sense to move to SF. From a fanbase standpoint it definitely sucks though.

Couple years age when I would go to games it was all local ticket holders (actual people who live in the town) and kids with the birthday package

Now I can't even afford to go I just watch from a distance

Next I won't be able to see the Raiders if they keep getting better

I went to see my cowboys play the Giants at that new stadium in 2014.. I don't get how it cost 1.5 billion to build.

And it's not worth the price

That one year the nets played in Newark was though. I went to 12 games for the low low the few Knicks games to go to during the year are brutal though.

I use golden state as an example because San Fran as a city is raping people when it comes to rent. Those tech companies have overrun that area and now it's bled over into a team that's not even in their city.
