they produced a masterpiece with pac and never got to really receive the props and respect they deserve
not a lot of other work by them really followed after that :mjcry:

And that's why Pac was special. People focused on his words and much less about the beats he rapped too.

i was readin' some of his poems from that rose that grew from concrete the other day and you can't tell me bruh won't 1 of the greatest poets of all time
he had a way with sayin' somethin' so powerful yet in a very simple but effective way

Pac could rap to the sounds of farts and dookie splats and make a classic.

Also, Pac was starting to venture more into the production side on this album. He was bringing his own ideas to the table, making some beats, directing the sound, etc.

I think it comes down to them being surrounded by the creative DR environment, the talented session musicians and the DR engineers. After Makaveli, I doubt they had this again.
