probably a religious/cultural thing, there are some Chinese and Indian funeral homes in the GTA (and not sure about cemeteries - i know of temples where urns of loved ones are displayed in the main halls though).

When i had my death and dying class (dope fukking class btw) we had a guest speaker from local funeral homes come in to do a lecture. shyt was hella dope, you gotta get degrees to be a director but they are fukking banking it, dude was talking about how this one lady wanted to be buried in her 1960-some convertible sports car, lady bought 4 plots and was sitting up with her hand waving on some Kennedy shyt. For everything, it cost her 250,000 for her whole burial and thats not including the 100,000 car she buried with her.

My birthplace in MS, the black funeral home owner built up enough cheese to buy 2 cemeteries and he pretty much got the Miss. Delta on lock. Coincidentally, once he bought it, white folks got another cemetery space and started being buried out there.
