you know what could work?

give him a King Hippo type gimmick..not that he changes his image..but that if he gets caught with a strong punch to the belly button he goes down for a count..usually for three. this way he doesnt really need to take many bumps..has a randomly funny flaw in his bruiser/menace look/style and otherwise just have him beat down guys as a mercenary/bodyguard without being in many matches

edit: on that pic..does he even have a belly button? maybe they could put an X on it like they did in the video game
