When you treat them nice, go out of your way to be polite, courteous, attentive, etc, they basically treat you like scum, but suddenly switch and be indifferent, rude, no longer pay them any mind and suddenly they start acting nice p, trying to bring back your old timid self. Human nature is hilarious
