Science is nothing but the accumulation of human knowledge of the observable universe. Humans are limited so science will always be limited.

There's a book a I read years ago called "The Island of Knowledge" and alit basically purports that knowledge, is you guessed it: and island. It's continually expanding, but no matter what, it's still an island in a sea of information.

I'm not sure we'll ever know where consciousness truly comes from. The scientific side missteps by trying to break these kinds of things it down to a process, but the religious side missteps by acting as if they actually know. "God" is blanket statement, and an excuse to mentally check out, not an answer.

We've been blessed with this consciousnes, its our duty to walk into it, coupling the processes and mysticism to both understand and, respect, and revere the wonder we're immersed in. To know that is to know God.

Its kinda hilarious that you are suprised tho. We legit got our first mri(s) and cat scans the 70s. Its genuinely amazing all the things neuroscience has figured out in only 50yrs.

The entire industry is younger than Jim Carey, George Clooney, and Barrack Obama but has managed to learn more about the brain in that 50 years of its existence than all of humanity knew in the 200,000yrs that preceded it . I think you are setting the bar too high to expect literally everything from such a young field.



Furthermore, lets not forget the multitude of things religion got wrong about the world, ranging from geocentrism to, to insect biology, to the value of pi, to even something as simple as the creation of plants before creation of the sun(violating photosynthesis that those exact same plants need to exist). And thats only within christian/jewish religion, dont even get me started on hindu, zorastrian, mayan, african animsm , or egyptian mythos.


I give our ancestors props for at least attempting to solve life's mysteries but lets not forget they were horribly limited due to their era and lack of technology. We shouldnt elevate them or their thoughts beyond their historical time period .

The reluctance of scientists to auto ascribe God credit for the creation of nature is exactly what keeps the world turning. Without it, I assure u, man would never have advanced technologically.

if those scientists didn’t pursue their mission with total devotion, unencumbered by the constraints of religion, the medical field alone wouldn’t be as effective as it is today.

u have to understand, for life to work. For the earth to keep on spinning, there has to be these opposing sides. A class of both opinions and beliefs must happen otherwise the affairs of the earth will get stagnant and eventually decay , back to its original form when the El Shadai discovered it, eons ago.
